A wooden wedding arbor, coordinated ceremony seating, lantern accents, and a dedicated woodland aisle create the setting, surrounded by trees, open sky, and the quiet of the Ozarks.
No ballroom. No generic backdrop. Just the forest and the people you love.
The Reception
And then, we celebrate.
Just steps from the ceremony, the forest opens into your reception space, so your guests can move naturally from “I do” to dinner, drinks, and dancing without ever leaving the property.
Set the evening with dining tables beneath the trees, ambient string lights, your choice of caterer, and the Forest Lounge & Bar nearby for drinks.
Dinner under the pines. Drinks at the bar. Music, dancing, and nowhere else you need to be.

No shuttles. No goodbyes at 10 PM.
Covering the obvious here, but, we’ve got bedrooms. When the music stops, nobody needs to call a ride, drive back into town, or figure out where everyone’s staying. Your guests can simply walk back to their rooms and call it a night.

How many guests can the wedding venue host?
Forest Springs Resort hosts elopements and micro-weddings, usually 20 to 30 guests and up to about 60 with a rented tent. With a full property buyout of all 50 rooms, your entire guest list can stay on the property for the whole weekend.
Can wedding guests stay on-site?
Yes. The property has 50 rooms so your guest list sleeps on-site: no hotel blocks, no rideshare logistics, no splitting the group across town.
Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding venue?
Our ceremony space is outdoors among the pines with string lights overhead. Reception can be outdoors or under a tent depending on season and weather.
Does Forest Springs host elopements?
Yes. The Whispering Forest package is designed for up to 20 guests, with a small forest ceremony, an intimate dinner, and guests staying on property.
